JAKARTA – A Legal Practitioner and Human Rights Activist, Larshen Yunus, Who Graduated From The University of Riau (UNRI) and Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta, Commented on the Ongoing Case Between Two Parties Who Are Actually Still Related by Family Ties. Lenni Martiana Hutabarat, a woman and the wife of the late Jeri Napitupulu, is currently facing her husband’s own siblings. According to the Information Board of the Bangkinang District Court (PN) on Jalan Letnan Boyak No. 7, Langgini, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, with Registration Number: 141/Pdt.G/2024/PN, which was registered on December 4, 2024, the Plaintiff is Lenni Martiana Hutabarat, while the defendants are Junior Manaek Napitupulu, Friska Dwiwati Napitupulu, Naren Vikjim Napitupulu, Turman Napitupulu, Erika Verawati Napitupulu, and Eka Juniarti Napitupulu, and the case is still in the conference stage.
It is Known That The Lawsuit Has Been Ongoing For A Long Time, With Each Party Taking Turns Being The Plaintiff and Defendant. Regarding Lenni Martiana Hutabarat’s Lawsuit Against Napitupulu et al: The Dignity of the State Seems to be at Stake, With Repeated Losses but no Legal Certainty.
At a Location in the Area of Hotel Luminor on Jalan Raya Mangga Besar, West Jakarta, on Saturday (5/31/2025), Larshen Yunus, a legal practitioner and human rights activist, said that such a legal event has truly damaged the dignity and prestige of the state as an instrument that should concretely bring justice and truth. However, Larshen Yunus, who is also known to serve as Chairman of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Prabowo-Gibran People’s Alliance, emphasized that the state, through the Supreme Court and/or the judiciary, should take a firm stance and work with relevant authorities, especially in executing the verdict of the panel of judges.
“The information we obtained from various sources and direct observation in the field shows that the legal efforts made by Lenni Martiana Hutabarat always fail or lose against the arguments submitted, while Napitupulu et al. always win and the verdicts are already final, but the law seems to be at stake. We Strongly Suspect that Lenni Martiana Hutabarat is Engaging in illicit Actions to Manipulate the court and delay the process, so that legal certainty is never achieved,” said Larshen Yunus.
The Chairman of the DPP of the Prabowo-Gibran People’s Alliance said again that the judiciary/ institution should immediately improve itself so that legal certainty, solutions, and justice are truly felt by all people. “It’s simple; we see and examine the substance of the case. With genuine intentions, a good and correct attitude, and self-awareness, this case will surely be resolved quickly. Don’t just argue and think you’re the only one right. Meanwhile, from another perspective, you’re not even doing any introspection. Come on, be honest! Dare to be great by being honest!!” said Larshen Yunus with an optimistic tone.
Finally, the legal practitioner and human rights activist who serves as Chairman of the DPP of the Prabowo-Gibran People’s Alliance emphasized that his party firmly “pinched the ears” of the parties concerned, especially the panel of judges and the Head of the Bangkinang District Court (PN), who are considered slow in bringing solutions and justice for the civil verdict, so it seems that the Supreme Court institution has failed to bring legal certainty to the problem.
“We are currently in Jakarta, and if there are no obstacles, we plan to meet with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia and the Head of the Supreme Court’s supervisory body, along with the Chairman of the Judicial Commission (KY) Center. The court’s decision that has won the Napitupulu et al. side must be followed up. It shouldn’t be stuck in court proceedings like that. The verdict is clear in favor of Napitupulu et al., so why does it seem to be prolonged? Legal certainty must be immediately presented. Do we need to send a letter to the three state institutions? Or do we need to hold a demonstration in front of the three state institutions? Come on, authorities, let’s respect the rule of law in this country. Don’t try to manipulate the judiciary with such outrageous methods that occurred at the Bangkinang District Court, Kampar Regency, Riau Province,” said Chairman of KNPI Larshen Yunus firmly, along with the Central Prabowo-Gibran Volunteers, as he concluded his press statement.
